It’s 5 o’clock somewhere! 10 Outdoor Bars You Won’t Want to Miss
I love all four seasons in New York, but when summer comes, I make sure to take full advantage of being outdoors. There is something about being able to enjoy dinner and a few drinks on an outdoor patio that is so relaxing to me. That’s why I decided to share a few outdoor spots for you to enjoy during your visit to New York.
Ellicottville Brewing Company serves their own award-winning hand-crafted beers and a full menu to go along with it. Brewery tours are available upon reservation.
The Watermark welcomes any guest by land or water, serving fresh seafood combined with local beers, I am not sure how much better it can get.
Market Street Brewing Co. & Restaurant is more than a brew pub, it is full of history. From the bar mirror to the antique windows, you’ll be trying local beers with a taste of local history, too.
Opening this summer is Hook & Spoon. Why am I recommending a place that hasn’t opened yet? They threw a preview party on July 3 and now everyone is waiting for the chance to go back.
The Beachcomber is a premier spot for summer fun. Enjoy a drink while sitting in the sand, play darts or pool, and when the band starts to play join in by the firepit!
Pelican’s Nest is an outdoor restaurant and bar with a full schedule of live entertainment. Welcoming any guests by land or water, it is a quick walk to the Port of Rochester Marina and Charlotte Beach.
Overlooking High Falls and the Genesee River Gorge is Genesee Brew House, which serves guests the freshest beers in Rochester. Stop in to grab a bite to eat or reserve a spot for one of their daily Brewery tours.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que offers happy hour from 3:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. during the week. A schedule is available on their website to see what live bands are performing, the best music and even better barbeque!
Spending the day at the wineries? The Switzerland Inn is located right off the wine trail. Whether you come by car or boat, it is recommended to be there in time to watch the sunset.
Along the shore of Lake Ontario is Marge's Lakeside Inn, a bar that encourages guests to relax in the sand. The bar is known for providing great service and plans Marge’s Lakeside Inn vacations where anyone is welcome to join, talk about hospitality!
So, while you plan your vacation to New York, don’t forget to schedule in time to relax on one of these outdoor patios with great views!
