From Canandaigua, take Rte 332 north. Turn left on 41 west to the Ganondagan State Historic Site. The Seneca Art & Culture Center is a permanent, year-round facility on the site. It shares the Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) contributions to art, culture and society now and over the last 2,000 years. Visitors can experience an interactive, multi-media Exhibit Gallery and an Orientation Theater featuring the Iroquois Creation Story Film. The grounds include a Seneca bark longhouse, gardens and trails. When you are ready to leave, take Rte 44 north into Victor and Rte 96 west to Eastview Mall. Nearby, you will find several good places for coffee, breakfast or lunch including Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters, Papa Jack's Grill, El Basha Mediterranean Eatery and Lucca Wood-Fire Bistro.
Fantastic shopping, activities, food, and drink all come together at Eastview Mall, where you can choose from more than 180 name brand stores. For kids, there’s the Lego™ store, Glowgolf mini-golf, and the Laser Maze Challenge. At the Lego store, toddlers to kids of any age can explore the 2,000-square-foot-store full of Legos and Lego models. At Glowgolf, balls, putters, course markings and hazards all glow, creating an exciting and somewhat cosmic 36-holes of miniature golf.
For adults, there is a plethora of sophisticated shopping in and around the mall including Lord & Taylor and Von Maur. Also plentiful are renown restaurants like Bonefish Grill as well as local favorites like The Distillery. Catch a movie on a rainy day at one of the Regal Theaters.
Afterwards, head into Rochester for a night’s stay.
